Arya went blind as an effect of wearing a face before being ready for it, before having completed her training and becoming “no-one”. Near the end of Season 5, Arya was still undergoing her training as a Faceless Man in the House of Black and White. Like most others, Arya became impatient and overconfident in her new skills and overplayed her hand. While undertaking one of her training assignments, which was to observe (only!), she spots Meryn Trant, a Lannister knight who, presumably, killed her dear first swordsmanship teacher, Syrio Forel. She disobeyed her mission and assassinated him by stabbing him repeatedly in the eyes and chest at the brothel after an ambush followed by a tough fight.

Why Kakashi Can’t Turn Off Sharingan?
Kakashi cannot deactivate his Sharingan because it was a gift from Obito Uchiha, and only an Uchiha can turn the Sharingan on or off. The Uchiha have a specific gene that allows them to use, activate, and deactivate their Sharingan at will. Not only is Kakashi Hatake not an Uchiha, but the eye also did not belong to him as Obito Uchiha gifted it for becoming a Jonin. Kakashi’s strength is still great, and he can support his eye for an extended period. Despite this, he cannot turn off his Sharingan because his chakra will completely reset to zero.

Why Did Asuka Caress Shinji In The End Of Evangelion (1997) ?
Asuka caressed Shinji: Asuka caressed Shinji’s face as a symbol of acceptance – acceptance for herself and Shinji. Throughout the movie, Asuka’s hatred towards Shinji symbolized her hatred for herself. By caressing Shinji’s face, she accepted him and hence herself. If Shinji was choking Asuka as a way of confirming that rejection and denial still existed, Asuka stroking Shinji meant that acceptance still existed in a world where people and their hearts were separate and not melted into one.

Why Did Hermione Not Help Dobby When His Life Was In Danger?
Why Did Hermione Not Help Dobby When His Life Was In Danger? It was because Hermione was not a trained healer: Although she had a general knowledge of various spells, Hermione was not trained for healing. Even in the books, she mentioned that her lack of medical knowledge is astounding considering the number of dangerous spots they found themselves in over the years. She thought about a lot of things but she never attempted to further her knowledge of healing wounds. Hermione knew how to use healing potions, but she was not Madam Pomfrey.
Significance Of The Acid Bath Scene In Suicide Squad (2016)
The acid scene brought out the similarity between Harley and the Joker’s origins. As part of his origin story, the Joker fell into a vat of chemicals. It was what discolored his skin and colored his hair green, finally driving him insane. Later, it was implied that the chemicals also gave him some healing factor, as the Joker has survived injuries that should have left him dead on multiple occasions. He also seemed to be immune to most toxins and also once cut his face off, wore it as a mask, and then had it sewn back on with no ill effect.

“They Have Gone To Plaid” Meaning In Spaceballs (1987)
Mel Brooke’s 1987 cult-classic spoof film, Spaceballs parodies several science fiction movies, primarily the Star Wars trilogy, and is filled with mirthful combinations. Elon Musk’s favoritism for the words ‘Ludicrous’ and ‘Plaid’ have redirected our attention to Spaceballs, in which the words were actually used as part of a joke. It is what prompted me to do this brief write-up. If you are looking for the joke’s meaning and context, here is a short guide.

The exact quote likely originated from the movie The Dark Knight, but it could have been inspired by some previous quotes and philosophies, for that matter. What Happened To Thranduil’s Face When He Was Arguing With Thorin In The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug?
Thranduil’s face, evident from his words, was burned by a dragon in the North. While we do not have a record of Thranduil actually being wounded by dragon fire, the War of Wrath lasted over four decades, so he certainly could have faced many dragons during this time (and faced the wrath of Dragon fire). Thranduil’s scars are decidedly non-canonical, and in all likelihood, Peter Jackson took creative liberty with the story to give an appropriate history and backstory for Thranduil. It gives us a glimpse into why he became so damaged (emotionally as well as physically).
